So as you can tell you can do a lot and get a lot done when you go to the BMV. You will hear many people cringe and groan when someone brings up going to the BMV because they are known for always being crowded and always taking forever no matter what you are there for. Unless you are sixteen and going for your drivers license many people are not happy to be taking a trip down to the BMV. Actually it is quite the opposite.
The people who work for the BMV have also gotten a lot of bad responses as well. Many people will go on and on about how they are rude and not nice, but you have to consider that these people try their hardest everyday. They work in and out all the time serving people for multiple amounts of reasons and they receive people from all walks of life. If they do not seem the most pleasant consider what they have gone through. Also, all the red tape that they must go through on a daily basis has to get extremely tedious. The pressures of having the states government on your back, while also having to deal with customers who are not in a good mood is never a good combination. Also, the people that you see at the BMV who work hard to get you all of your important documents done in appropriate times and deal with a multitude of people and attitudes on a daily basis generally on get paid minimum wage. These people work hard to help you out on a daily basis and they do not get compensate accordingly. This is a frustrating factor for many people.

However you look at the BMV is a place that everyone has to go to, for the new driver to do their dreaded drivers test, for the older driver to have to make sure that they are still qualified to drive. For those of you getting licenses renewed, replaced, adding next of kins, getting new license plates, registering your vehicle and much more. This is a place that you must go to and in some cases it can be a right of passage. I know when I first went to the BMV, scared and intimidated, about to take my first drivers test. It was scary, but I felt like I was finally doing something substantial. Every time I walk into an Ohio BMV i feel that feeling for an instant right before i file in line behind the twentieth customer! Luckily for those of us who live in Ohio, we have tons of great locations for BMVs. No matter where you live there should be a locations fairly close to your home to make your trip to the local BMV fairly easy.
